Autumn Day - Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn - Monday October 26th

Join us for our Autumn Day! 

Here's what is included:

• Two hours of hands-on learning.
• Read aloud of, Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Park. 
• A book talk where we discuss setting and sequence. 
• A guided leaf hunt hike through our field. Once we get back to the studio, we will organize our leaves by shape, then color. We will identify the leaves and discuss the color changing process. 
  
• As a group, we will create a word-web of seasonal descriptive words. 
• Students will complete their own autumn landscape friend! 

Some Key Details:

•  Who: Our classes are designed for ages 4 - 6 years old. Our academic lessons include Missouri kindergarten standards for ELA, math, science, social studies, and/or social emotional learning. Each class is limited to 10 students. *Parents and siblings are more than welcome to stay, but there will only be materials provided for students with purchased tickets. 
• When: This ticket is for Monday October 26th from 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM. 
• Where: Our private studio in Holt, MO. We're 15 minutes north of Liberty, MO and 30 minutes north of Kansas City. Exact address will be included in the confirmation email after booking! 
• Why: I am a former first grade teacher who LOVES creating with my kids. Our oldest turned 5 over the summer and I wanted to start lessons with her to prepare her for kindergarten next year. Life is better with friends, so we wanted to invite you as well! 

Perfection is not guaranteed, expected, or even pursued! We celebrate every artist, no matter their skill-level or personal pace. 

*All ticket purchases are final, due to the cost of sourcing materials and preparing lessons. If something comes up and your student will no longer be able to attend their session, all of their materials will be packaged with an instruction guide for students to complete at home. Packets must be picked up within 45 days.
